Here is what I am doing that has gotten me from using almost 20 prescriptions a day down to 2 prescriptions plus some vitamins and supplements.
I have been using an approach called Integrated Healing. It involves multiple approaches. For the most part I use a combination of Sound therapy, meditation, Mega Vitamin therapy and visualization techniques. I use supplements to normalize and strengthen my immune system. Yes, I know. Western medicine tells us strengthening the immune system makes our MG worse. But if it is strengthened in the right way it is a benefit. Diet and exercise also play a big part. Now exercise for me is difficult due to Myasthenia Gravis.
So I use Zinc 50 MG, Vitamin C
(ascorbic Acid) 1000 MG. At the beginning 1000 MG 3 times a day taken
as a powder mixed with water or juice will really help to get things
going. The Zinc is needed for your body to use the Vitamin C correctly. I
also use a medicinal Mushroom extract once a week, but you can use more
at the beginning. 1/8 to 1/4 of a teaspoon, either straight or mixed
with food or drink. It is very, very strong flavoured so be careful what
you mix it with. It tastes a bit like truffle only with a bitter after
taste. I also just started a high quality probiotic and prebiotic that
guarantees 10 Billion live cells that are scientifically proven to make
it past the stomach into the GI tract. 40% to 60% of our healthy immune
system comes from our gut.
It is not that our immune system is too strong like western medicine tells us, it is that our immune system is broken. This stuff I'm doing fixes or normalizes it.
