Using Sound To Stop Muscle Twitching

I had a rough night for awhile, after about 2 hours I got woken up with muscle twitching and could not get back to sleep. The muscle twitching happens sometimes due to Myasthenia Gravis. It took me years to find a fast acting solution for the rare occasions it still occurs. Early this morning I tried something I have used for other purposes that worked in about 30 minutes. 15 minutes might have very well been enough but I wanted to be sure it lasted.

It starts with headphones or earbuds. Then I load up my favorite HARI OM Chant video that includes music. Instead of chanting however I hum to the chant. I discovered a few months ago when having issues with pronunciation that humming is actually more effective than chanting and can reduce the the time required for the desired effect by as much as 75%. You need to hum it loudly enough to feel the vibration in your nasal passages. You have to play the music/chant loud enough to ensure your staying in tune. There are several articles and videos on the internet and YouTube that explain how sound can heal many different issues including Pain, Depression, Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Here is the video I generally use for this purpose.

Here is a YouTube video that talks about the science of healing with sound. Some Great information here. Called: Music Medicine

Here is another YouTube video that talks about sound therapy for Pain, Depression & Obesity.
